The car was fully restored by a professional coachbuilder in 2012. The side members, rocker panels, floorboards, front and rear skirts and engine bay have all been redone. The body no longer shows any traces of rust. Photos of the restoration are available in the gallery. The owner has approximately €8,000 worth of bodywork. The chrome, seals and exterior plastics are in new condition. The paintwork is the original colour and has no defects.

Inside, the car has benefited from a complete restoration of the upholstery and carpets, which are in as-new condition. The interior plastics and dashboard trim are in perfect condition. It is fitted with a smaller, tulip-shaped Junior Zagato 1600 steering wheel, which is the only element that differs from the original. The original steering wheel is supplied. The instrumentation and on-board equipment function normally.
