The 16″ seven-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 215/70 Toyo Open Country tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the Element is equipped with a MacPherson-strut front suspension and a double-wishbone rear setup. In 2019 the struts and lower control arms were replaced and a brake fluid flush was carried out. The brakes were replaced in March 2020 and in March 2022 the front ball joints were changed.
