The 13″ steel wheels feature simulated wire wheel covers and knock-off hubs and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall radial tires. A full-size spare is located in the engine compartment. The Corvair utilized a fully independent suspension, and stopping power is provided by front and rear drum brakes. A quick-ratio steering box is said to have been fitted during the refurbishment.
