Maroon-finished 15″ steel wheels wear chrome trim rings and Ford-branded hubcaps and are mounted with Radial G/T tires measuring 195/60 up front and 215/65 out back. A non-matching spare is located in the trunk. The car has been fitted with Mustang II–style front control arms, front coil springs, modern-style shock absorbers, and blocked rear leaf springs. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The master cylinder, front brake hoses and calipers, and the rear wheel cylinders were replaced under current ownership.
