The 15″ cast aluminum direct-bolt knock-off wheels are mounted with 215/65 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering and Bilstein front and Ridetech rear shock absorbers. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner.
