Fiberglass bodywork features a removable nose cone, engine cover, and rear cockpit cover, the latter of which was redesigned with internal stiffening for Chigwell-built cars. This example’s body is finished in Yamaha Ocean Depth Mica Metallic, while the steel frame is finished in red stove enamel. Exposed carbon-fiber cycle fenders were given a revised profile and mounting arrangement for cars built in the mid-2000s. Additional features include Hella headlights that can be retracted beneath the nosecone, a light blue nose accent around a mesh grille, a plexiglass windscreen, body-color side mirrors, and an external fuel-filler cap. The right side of the cockpit cover features Gordon Murray’s signature.
