Forged-aluminum 17″ BMW Style 21 wheels wear directional “throwing star” covers and were refinished in December 2021, when Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires were mounted at all four corners. Other work at that time included replacing the lower front control arms, rear shock joints, and rear suspension joint components. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, and the 850CSi features a sport-tuned suspension and revised steering ratios in comparison to other E31 models.
