The chrome-finished 15” wire wheels are secured via two-eared knock-offs and are wrapped in 6.40-16 Avon Super Safety tires, as is a matching spare housed in the trunk. Stopping is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with the rear units situated inboard. A refresh of the brake system during the refurbishment included rebuilds of the master cylinder and calipers, the rear of which were fitted with a remote bleeding system. The steering and suspension systems were also overhauled during the project with replacement shock absorbers, ball joints, and various bushings.
