Metal repairs performed in 2005 by Highland Automotive in in Highland, New York, are said to have included the fabrication of replacement floor and inner panels as well as work to return previously widened rear fenders to their 1950s configuration. A non-louvered hood skin was fabricated during the refurbishment under subsequent ownership, which also included a repaint in a white and blue livery replicating that worn by the car in Italy in the 1950s.
