The 15″ polished Centerline wheels wear faux three-eared knock-off hubs, and they are mounted with 235/60 front and 265/50 rear BFGoodrich and Hankook tires that should be replaced due to age according to the seller. The Merak features a fully independent suspension, and stopping power is provided by a Citroen-sourced hydraulically boosted brake system. Replacement hydraulic brake spheres were installed in March 2023 along with a rebuild of the rear hydraulic brake accumulator. The front lower control arm bushings are worn, and signs of impact are noted on the left-front shock absorber.
