The 1978-1979 build included the disassembly and media-blasting of the body before reinforcement panels were welded to areas of the shell including suspension and roll-cage mounting points. The car was then finished in white with red and blue Safari graphics, and various areas of chipping and other imperfections are shown up close in the photo gallery below. Exterior features include fiberglass bumpers, RSR-style fender flares, a ducktail spoiler, plexiglass rear and side windows, quad hood-mounted driving lights, front and rear bumper-mounted fog lights, a front bull bar, mudguards, and an electrical cut-off switch.
