Borrani wire wheels are secured by three-eared knock-offs and are mounted with BFGoodrich Advantage T/A tires. Stopping is handled by four-wheel Girling disc brakes with assistance from a vacuum servo. The 400 GT model shared the 350 GT’s coil-sprung four-wheel independent suspension, but with its rear arrangement modified to accommodate two additional passengers.
