This example is equipped with 15″ steel wheels wearing full covers and vintage-look whitewall tires that were reportedly mounted in preparation for the sale. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a transverse leaf spring in the rear. Work under prior ownership is said to have included an overhaul of the suspension, steering, and braking systems.
