The 15″ steel wheels feature polished hubcaps and are wrapped in 33×10.5 General Grabber X3 tires that were installed in March 2022. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and a later-style FJ40 power steering system. Braking is from power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the suspension features 2″ Con-Ferr shackles. Other work in March 2022 included a brake fluid flush and replacing the master cylinder as well as the rear wheel cylinders and shoes. Gas shocks and dual steering stabilizers were also installed.
