Rust repairs performed on this example in the late 1980s by Classic Auto Restorations in Wilmington, Delaware, included replacement of the floor pans, longitudinals, lower doors, and jack spurs. Additional bodywork during the 2000s refurbishment in San Diego was reportedly handled by Joe Jorge, with lead applied to the hood, deck lid, and door openings to adjust the panel gaps prior to a repaint in the original shade of Meissenblau (5703). The last two or three digits of the chassis number are shown stamped on the deck lid, front hood latch, doors, and soft top frame in the photo gallery below.
