Staggered-width 17″ five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 275/40 front and 315/35 rear Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires. ZR-1 equipment included the Performance Handling Package as well as the FX3 Selective Ride and Handling package, which added electronically adjustable Bilstein shock absorbers. Braking is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs.
