Following the sheet metal repairs, the body was repainted in black lacquer in lieu of the car’s original shade of red. Various chips, cracks, and other imperfections in the finish are shown up close in the gallery below. Exterior features include quadruple-beehive taillights, square-edge door handles, body-color bumpers without overriders, gold lettering, a Reutter badge riveted to the right-front fender, and a cream soft top with matching side curtains. A 1968 Pennsylvania inspection sticker is retained on the windshield.
