The car underwent revisions to its silhouette body and frame as permitted by Trans-Am rules during three seasons with Miller. For 1985, the chassis was revised by David Klym of Fabcar to accommodate a David Brun-designed double-wishbone suspension setup, while the body shell was updated to a lighter-weight composite material with reengineered aerodynamics. The 2012-2015 project was based on this 1985 configuration and included refinishing the tube frame in its period blue. Bodywork wears the 1985 Herman+Miller white and blue No. 36 graphics, which were reportedly provided by the same specialist who handled their application in period.
