Steel 14″ wheels are finished in white with replacement chrome Volkswagen-logo hubcaps and wear 205/70 Maxxis MA-1 white-stripe tires with 2016 date codes. The suspension was overhauled and the reduction-gear rear end was replaced according to the selling dealer, and front disc brakes were fitted along with KYB Gas-Adjust shock absorbers.
