During its 1986 refurbishment, this example was fitted with a new fiberglass body molded in the style of the M1B model, which featured a less-tapered nose than its predecessor as well as a shortened Kamm tail. The body was refinished in its current shade of red at that time, and a refresh carried out within the last year included various repairs and touchups. Features include bottom-hinged doors, a transparent rear spoiler, body-color front flicks, a molded acrylic wraparound windshield, a black roll bar, and dual tripod side mirrors.
