This reproduction is said to have been created using molds, tooling, and design rights obtained by The Sports Car Factory’s Rich Dommers from Australian builder Denis Bedford in the mid-2000s before production of the SCF XJ13 shifted to Michigan’s Race Car Replicas. Construction incorporates a TIG-welded aluminum monocoque tub that was reportedly custom-fabricated by a Maryland aerospace engineering firm and carries aluminum front and rear subframes. Green fiberglass bodywork is detailed with simulated rivets and is finished in Brooklands Green with Ford silver Le Mans stripes flanked by yellow accents. Removable panels include the rear section, trunk, and doors as well as an aluminum louvered front hood with a single NACA duct. According to the seller, the car’s roofline stands 38.5” high. Paint chips below the doors are noted to have been touched up, and cracks in the front fender lips were repaired after being sustained during transport.
