Black-finished 17″ cast-aluminum wheels with polished rims wear 245/45 Goodyear Eagle ZR45 tires. R models featured unique suspension tuning with a larger-diameter front stabilizer bar, a front strut-tower brace, upgraded front and rear springs, and heavy-duty front struts and rear shocks. Hydraulic power steering was standard equipment, and a power steering cooler was added as part of the R Competition Package, which also featured upgraded disc brakes at all four corners.
