Solid 16″ steel wheels wear chrome beauty rings and hubcaps in addition to Yokohama YK740 GTX tires. A Miata-based independent rear suspension and a Ford 7.5″ Trac-Loc differential have replaced the stock solid rear axle. The front brake calipers and rotors were replaced with those for a later-model 1800.
