BBS 15″ basketweave wheels feature BMW-roundel center caps and are mounted with 205/55 Vredestein Sprint + tires showing 2020 date codes. A matching spare wheel with a Uniroyal tire is mounted beneath the trunk floor. Compared to the contemporary E30, the M3 featured revised suspension geometry, re-valved struts, stiffer springs, stronger wheel bearings, and lighter aluminum control arms. Four-wheel disc brakes were standard equipment.
