Optional 19″ Carrera S II wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 235/35 up front and 265/35 out back. The Cayman R is equipped with a lower suspension than the standard Cayman S model, and braking is handled by red four-piston calipers and slotted rotors at each corner. A brake fluid flush was performed in September 2020, and curb marks on the wheels are shown up close in the gallery below.
