Factory 17″ Evo wheels feature a machined finish and are mounted with 245/45 Bridgestone Turanza ER300 tires. The E500 featured a wider track and lower ride height when compared with other W124 models, and shared front disc brakes with the contemporary R129 SL600. Service in July 2019 included replacing the brake pads and rotors and flushing the self-leveling suspension hydraulic fluid.
