Staggered-width 18″ Style 65 wheels are mounted with Dunlop SP Sport 01 run-flat tires measuring 245/40 and 275/35. Blue StopTech calipers and slotted two-piece rotors have been added up front, and the brake pad wear sensors were replaced in August 2019. Compared to the standard E39 5-series, the M5 featured more aggressive shock valving and thicker front and rear anti-roll bars.
