Factory BBS 16″ basketweave wheels with BMW center caps were refinished in 2020 and are mounted with 225/50 Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires that were recently installed. A matching spare with an older tire is stowed beneath the trunk floor. The self-leveling rear suspension has been replaced with a conventional setup, and the car has been lowered approximately 1.5″ according to the seller. Service performed in 2020 included replacement of the control arms, tie rods, a sway bar end link, spring pads, shock mount plates, struts, and suspension bushings. Brake calipers, pads, and rotors sourced from a later-model BMW 540i are fitted along with new hoses and pad sensors.
