According to documents from the 1990 restoration, the body on this car was removed from the frame and stripped before being refinished in its factory shade of Azure Blue (L), a color introduced for the Thunderbird in September 1957. A new blue convertible top was installed during the restoration, and closeups of the finish, trim, and lenses are presented in the gallery below along with images of a pair of included rear fender skirts.
