Factory 17” aluminum wheels are mounted with older 255/50 BF Goodrich Comp T/A tires that show signs of dry rot and should be replaced due to age. The Impala SS rode an inch lower than its Caprice counterpart and shared a suspension setup with the contemporary 9C1 police version.
