Stock 15″ steel wheels were bead-blasted and painted in black (L41) on the outer rim, and the inner disks were finished in Pearl White (L87). Chrome VW-branded covers are fitted along with BF Goodrich whitewall tires. The braking system was serviced as part of the refurbishment with a replacement master cylinder, soft lines, rear drums, and shoes.
