Staggered-width 18″ AMG monoblock wheels are mounted with Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 tires. The E500 was equipped from the factory with disc brakes that were sourced from the contemporary SL600 roadster. The car has been lowered with aftermarket springs, though the self-leveling suspension system has been retained.
