Ford Racing 18″ wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich tires. The FR500S featured adjustable sway bars, stiffened springs, two-way adjustable Sachs shocks, and a Ford Racing steering rack. Braking is provided by four-piston Brembo calipers and 14″ slotted rotors up front, Shelby GT500 disc brakes out back, and a four-wheel anti-lock system calibrated for track use.
