The buggy features a shortened 1962 VW chassis and rides on staggered 15″ US Mags wheels with Primewell tires measuring 195/65 up front and 225/70 out back. The four-wheel drum brakes were reportedly overhauled during the refurbishment, and the car retains swing-axle rear suspension.
