Steel 15″ wheels are fitted with disc-style wheel covers and are mounted with Yokohama Avid Ascend tires. The vehicle retains factory Beetle suspension with transverse front torsion bars and rear trailing arms. A set of air shocks are fitted at the rear, though the seller notes that the suspension will bottom out under high loads. Wear in the trailing edges of the hull is visible where it has impacted the ground.
