This example was originally finished in Lime Gold according to its entry in the Shelby Registry, and a repaint in the factory color was carried out in 1996 by Classic Restoration and Bodywork in Brandon, Mississippi. The body was stripped before the application of three coats of PPG Deltron polyurethane base color and four coats of PPG clear. Exterior features include white Rallye stripes and center-mounted high beams. The seller notes three nicks in the paint, and each are shown up close in the photo gallery below. The right front fender was reportedly replaced in the 1970s following a mishap in which the car entered a ditch.
