Body-color 15″ steel wheels with chrome wheel covers wear a set of Uniroyal white stripe tires that were mounted in May 2020. The spare tire was moved to the outside of the trunk for the 1956 model year, and braking is provided by four wheel drums. Recent service of the braking system is said to include replacement of the shoes, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder.
