Steel wheels are mounted with a mixed set of whitewall tires measuring 225/75. The factory wheelcovers were re-chromed by the seller and feature body-color centers. Adenauers were equipped with independent front suspension and a coil-sprung rear swing axle, and featured rear load-leveling adjustment that could be operated via a dashboard-mounted switch. Braking is handled by vacuum-assisted four-wheel drums.
