Four-lug steel wheels wear knobby tires, and a spare is mounted behind the rear bench seat. The Ranger’s four-wheel independent suspension and braking system were sourced from the contemporary Fiat 600. The brake master cylinder, lines, and fluid were replaced in 2019.
