This FJ sits on two-piece 17″x8.5″ Hutchinson Rock Monster double-beadlock wheels mounted with 40″x13.5″ Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 tires, including the spare on the swing-down rear carrier. The suspension features a three-link front end with Currie joints, 16″ King remote-reservoir coilovers, a Panhard bar, Rough Country 3″ leaf springs, and Bilstein rear shocks. Timbren progressive bump stops are mounted up front with nitrogen-charged Fox air bump stops out back. Brake upgrades include a four-wheel disc conversion with Ford F-250 front calipers, Chevrolet K20 rear calipers, a Toyota T100 dual-diaphragm booster, and a one-ton master cylinder as well as a button-activated line lock. A Saginaw 800-series steering gearbox has been fitted along with a Borgeson steering shaft and U-joints.
