Mesh-style five-lug wheels are mounted with 205/50 tires. Suspension for the M3 model was also upgraded from the factory with revised geometry, revalved struts, stiffer springs, stronger wheel bearings, and aluminum control arms. Disc brakes were standard at all four corners.
