The factory 15″ wheels measure 6″ wide up front and 7″ wide at the rear, and they are mounted with Cooper Radial GT tires measuring 205/60 and 215/60 respectively. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the suspension design was revised for the 1988 model year with updated front control arms and knuckles as well as a revamped tri-link rear suspension.
