Ventilated steel wheels have been powedercoated silver and wear VW hubcaps. Front disc brakes came standard for the 1971 model year. The side door features a vented window. An optional “circus tent” that can be added to the passenger side when camping will accompany the van, although the pole set for the tent is missing.
