Styled steel 15″ wheels were added under previous ownership and are mounted with 205/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car was equipped from the factory with the Special Handling package, which included a thicker sway bar and springs and heavier-duty shock absorbers compared to base Mustangs. Work under current ownership included overhauling the rear drum brakes, replacing the rear shock absorbers and the emergency brake cables and mounts, and installing a Borgeson power steering kit, a front disc brake conversion kit, and QA1 front coilovers.
