American Racing 15″ Torq Thrust Wheels were mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial tires in 2008. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Power steering and four-wheel disc brakes were added during the refurbishment. The front calipers were replaced in March 2024.
