Staggered Firestone-branded tires are mounted on the body-color 16″ wheels. The car rides on a modified suspension with a drop axle, hairpin radius rods, transverse leaf springs, and a four-link setup out back. Mercury-logo hubcaps, Vega steering, a ’62 Chevrolet truck master cylinder, and Lincoln brakes were also utilized.
