The rear of the truck was outfitted by National Fire Contracting of Hawthorne, Florida with a diamond-plate aluminum utility bed featuring a headache rack, lockable storage cabinets, and four storage compartments. Additional firefighting equipment includes a 250-gallon water tank, a 20-gallon foam tank, and a Hannay power-retractable hose reel loaded with approximately 95 feet of 3/4″ hose. The Hale water pump is powered by a 627cc Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-twin with an external oil cooler, and it is controlled via an illuminated panel featuring a water pressure gauge, choke, and throttle controls. The air and fuel filters for the pump motor were replaced in preparation for the sale along with the hour meter and the wiper blades. A photo of the removed hour meter can be viewed in the gallery.
