Ivory-finished 15″ steel wheels wearing polished covers are mounted with older 185/80 Retro RC-001 tires, and a spare with a Nexen tire is stored under the hood ahead of the engine. The hydropneumatic system serves the self-leveling, height-adjustable suspension and also provides assistance to the steering and braking systems. Stopping power is provided by inboard front disc and rear drum brakes. Work on the hydropneumatic system and suspension from 2020 to 2021 involved rebuilding the hydraulic pump and repairing the upper bump stop assembly as well as replacing the valve body, hydraulic spheres, lines, and one of the axles.
