Body-color steel wheels wear chrome Packard-branded hubcaps, and they are mounted with Commander wide-whitewall bias-ply tires. The 23rd Series Standard Eight rode on a 120″ wheelbase and features a coil-sprung independent front suspension as well as a live rear axle with leaf springs and tube shocks. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel hydraulic drums.
