Refurbished 15″ five-spoke cast aluminum wheels are mounted with 225/75 Goodyear Wrangler tires. Braking is provided by replacement front discs and rear drums that feature copper-nickel brake lines, braided hoses, and a Wilwood proportioning valve. The truck is equipped with power steering with a Cardone gearbox, and the brake and clutch systems have been converted to Dot 5. The front and rear shocks have been replaced and utilize poly bushings, while the leaf springs were repainted and rebuilt with Teflon inserts.
